Toys must be new, unwrapped, and appropriate for children between the age 2 through 12. Toys for Tykes is unable to distribute food or clothing.

Requirements

- You must reside in the Lincoln Police Department jurisdiction.
- The application form is available at the Police Department.
- Documentation of all income and assistance must be provided. We will make copies of these documents for you to turn in with your application packet, if necessary. These documents might include, but are not limited to: pay stubs, food stamp entitlement letter, SSI benefit, aid to dependent children, unemployment benefits. Applications without documentation will not be accepted.
- If you live with a relative, or have other living arrangements, and do not pay rent, a letter signed by the homeowner detailing these arrangements is required.
- You must hold primary custody for children listed on the application. (You might qualify if you are a foster parent or have temporary custody, please call Lin or Kirby.)
- The age range is 2-12. If the child has special needs, additional assistance may be available. Please contact Lin or Kirby.
- Please do not leave applications with anyone else or at the window. Return your completed application packet to Lin Estes or Kirby Williams only.

As a toy drive, the Toys for Tykes charity cannot distribute food or clothing. However, if you or your business would like to sponsor a family in need by providing food or clothing, please contact Lin or Kirby at 205-763-4065 and they will do their best to pair you with a family in need.
